Speaking of Launchpad...
The launchpad is the space in which the user accesses all the applications assigned to their account in TOTVS Identity.
Identity users have a corporate launchpad per company. Each launchpad can be configured with distinct applications, and the applications can be assigned by the company administrator (through the Applications screen (documentation in Portuguese language)) or included directly by the logged-in user (from the navigable applications list).
Accessing an application through the Launchpad
01. Open the Launchpad menu.
02. Hover over the application icon you wish to access and click Access Application.
The application opens in a new browser tab, and the user is automatically authenticated.
Certain applications require the installation of a plugin in the browser for automatic credential filling. In this case, the message below is displayed, instructing to click the Download Plugin option to enable access.
Adding an application to the Launchpad
01. Click Add Application.
02. Locate the desired application in the list of available applications.
Only applications the administrator has defined as browsable are available for selection in the applications list.
You can filter by application category and also use the search field to more easily search for the desired application.
03. Click Add below the application description.
The application is added to the user's launchpad. If you need to provide access credentials, the application displays the status Not Configured.
Configuring an application
01. In the launchpad, find the application to be configured and click More Options.
02. Click Credentials.
A side panel is displayed with the logo, name, and authentication fields of the application.
03. Enter the username and password for the application's service at issue.
04. Click Save.
When the credentials are provided and saved, if the configurations are correct, Identity redirects the user from the launchpad to the service.
Removing an application
Regular users do not have permission to remove applications added to the launchpad by company administrators.
01. In the launchpad, find the application to be removed and click More Options.
02. Click Remove.
Querying application information
01. In the launchpad, locate the application to be queried and click More Options.
02. Click Information.
A side panel is displayed with the logo, name, and description provided in the application register. For more details, refer to the Applications documentation (in Portuguese language).
