  • Factor - a numeric value to be used in calculation;
  • Using (Percentage/Multiplier/Formula) - identifies how the factor informed will be used;

Percentage - it uses the factor informed as a multiplication percentage of budget values.

Example: Factor = 50 and Using = Percentage -50% is added to values previously budgeted.

Multiplier - it uses the number entered in field Factor as a multiplier.

Example: Factor = 2 and Using = Multiplier - multiplies values previously budgeted by 2.

Formula - it uses a mathematic formula to update values budgeted previously. In this case, the variable VALUE, available in Protheus, must be used. In this case, the formula is applied to all periods of the calendar.

Example: Using = Formula and Formula = VALUE*1.10 - multiplies values budgeted previously by 1.10.

  • Apply (Line/All) - it indicates if the rule entered for multiplication is applied from the line selected or for all periods of the calendar;
  • Formula - the formula to be applied must be entered when field Using is set up as Formula.
