Attribute
In this option, an Attribute Method for the Test Type was implemented.
A Measurement by Attribute method compares parts with a set of limit specifications and accepts the part if the limits are satisfied. Otherwise, the part is rejected.
The measurement choices must be made randomly.
Example:
In a R&R study by attribute, we notice that:
| • | There are 2 (two) testers performing the studies in 5 (five) parts, in 2 (two) cycles. |
| • | In Tester 1's first study (cycle), all parts met the required criterion (Approved). However, this did not occur in his second cycle (Not Approved). |
| • | The same happened with tester 2. |
Because there are parts whose criterion were not met, this study is called Incapable System.
