Calibration

This routine registers all measurements accomplished in the instruments, internally or outwardly.

To collect data, it is possible to use the OPTO-RS232 type instrument, via serial door, registering its respective technical characteristic in the Instrument Register.

Important:

Internal calibration differs to external ones, so it has a specific form to be registered.

Data of a same instrument in a same date can be collected.

A calibration procedure used during the checking instrument can be seen, using the See Doc. option in the maintenance routine window,  but, this option will operate just in cases where there is integration with Documents Control environment.

The next parameters are important during calibration process:

MV_QBNDMED

During alteration, it suggest the first range/standard that was not informed, while it is defined as 1.

MV_QCLPERC

It considers the field Tolerance/process in Uncertainty Calculation, to ranges with uncertainty report with metrological confirmation and percentage calculation type. Parameters of this option are: 1= Yes, realize  the  calculation by percentage and 2= No, does not realize the calculation.

MV_QDECPAD

It defines the quantity of decimal place used in Calibration moment, while the content is equal to 1.

MV_QICEWOD

It defines how calibration certificate will be printed in word® format, while content is equal to1. You must to have certprinc.dot file.

MV_QMOESPT

Organize ranges by checking/standard type, during calibration. To alphabetical ordinance by range/standard, content must be equal to 2.

MV_QMTIOPC

After adding a calibration, it allows the system to return to browse window, while content is defined with 2. Otherwise, the system returns automatically to the inclusion window.

MV_QMTPCES

Type character parameter During calibration, the system will use the number of decimal places defined in Scales Register, in QM9_ESCINI field and not the defined number in standard/range linking (QMA).

MV_QSULOG

It suggests the logged user as responsible for calibration, while it is defined as 2.

MV_QSUMITB

It allows the summing in Uncertainty calculation (Type A Uncertainty with Type B Uncertainty).

MV_QSUPADS

It suggests secondary (used in the last calibration), in mains instrument calibration, independently of revision.

Procedures

To set measurement procedures:

1. In the Calibration maintenance window, select Add.

Fill out header with data, according to help field.

2. Once filled out, click Create Ranges/Standards.

A screen applying for data confirmation is displayed.

Important:

In the case there is no range associated to the informed instrument, it is not allowed to fill out the fields with measurement procedure, showing a message in the screen.

Substitute the informed instrument by one that has range association, or associate a family to a desired instrument, that has an associated range, through Family Register and, then, Instrument Register, informing this family to the instrument.

3. Check data and confirm it.

After doing it, the system verify the informed data and create the instrument structure.

4. Once the structure is created, you will have the options to:
Range
Standard

Each of these options has a light, which classify the situation of each range or standard.

Note that these lights change as the measurements are typed and the consulted result, respecting the Caption.

5. This way, the system show the fields to be informed, related to folders to measurement information, being:
Measurement folder
Observation folder
External Measurement folder
Secondary Standard folder
Used Instruments folder
No-conformities folder
Type B Uncertainties folder
6. After filling out the folders, the system allows you to consult Results and Reports obtained by measurements.

Just check the informed data and confirm calibration.

Important:

When adding calibrations, note that:

If used range has an expired standard, the system shows an alert message informing that the range standard date is expired, applies a confirmation to proceed the registering, even when its expired, verified according to system basis data.
If there is no linking between Standards x Ranges (QMR) and Ranges x Instrument Families (QMR x QMK), the system shows you an alert message informing the absence of these linkings, requested in calibration, when selected the related items.
To secondary standard(s)/used instruments(s), uncertainty is treated conforming main instrument calibration date. Uncertainty that will be generated in the measurement will be the first found in the calibration of father instrument. If there is secondary standard uncertainty in the mouth, the system will suggest the first uncertainty of previous months.
Secondary standard uncertainties/instruments used in main instruments can be suggested, regardless of its revision, by parameterization of MV_QSUPADS.
7. Check data and confirm it.

The system start the calibration conclusion process, to generate and obtain the Results and Reports.
