Parameters

Protheus system uses some general and specific configuration called parameters.

A parameter is a variable that works as a key element in some procedure execution. According to its content, different results are possible.

Metrology module use various parameters, some of them are common to other System modules. If the parameters are changed, it will keep on working for the system environments. However, some parameters are only generic configurations, such as peripherals, opening dates, currency denominations, etc.
