Points/Calibrators
The information displayed next is related, in due importance, to the Metrology module. |
The points/calibrators must be entered when the entered range for the family associated with the instrument is of the \"8=Calibrator/Complete Calibrator\" type, selected in the Calibration Type field in Range Registration.
Procedures
To enter points/calibrators:
| 1. | In the Add instrument window, click Points/Calibrators. |
The System displays the fields to enter the points/calibrators.
| 2. | Fill in the data according to the orientation of the Help file, paying special attention to the following: |
| • | Type; |
Select the point type:
- Measurable - when this option is selected, you must fill in the Nominal Value and Spacing fields.
- Attribute - this option is for the observation points of the pass or does not passtype.
| • | Tolerance type; |
This field is enabled when the point type is Measurable. Thus, the tolerance limit values must be selected as Numerical or Percentage.
| 3. | After the fields are filled in, check and confirm them. |
