All calculations are based on an 5,15 standard deviation estimate (99.0% of the area under the normal curve).
Suggested R&R limits:
• | from 0% to 10% - GOOD Measurement System; |
• | from 10% to 30% - ACCEPTABLE Measurement System; |
• | Above 30% - UNACCEPTABLE Measurement System. |
For this evaluation, a minimum of 5 parts and 2 operators are required, while the traditional method (long method) requires 2 cycles and that the number of parts and operators is higher than 15.
