Work Center
In this register, the logic or physical structure of the plant is defined. Work Center is a specific grouping of pieces of equipment/employees used in a Shop Floor. This concept was formerly Machinery Group.
This routine features the following fields and controls:
• | Production Area: physical or logical representation of the manufacturing structure, in which work centers are grouped in the same process or line. |
• | Work Center: physical grouping in which manufacturing operations are processed. It may have one or more machines with similar features, for example: assembly bench, connector line, group of lathes R-1, pre-assembly, etc. |
• | Operation Overlap: overlap percentage of one operation in relation to the previous operation. |
When changing the field Reported, a list - with all production orders that have not been started and with at least one operation with Work Center that is being changed - is displayed. In the list, you can select the orders with updated information in the operation and splits. When executing it, the operations and the splits of selected orders with the same Work Center have the Reported information updated. |
