Adding a Customer

When adding a new customer, you can first file basic information and complete the customer's file with all the information needed later at the back office.

You can only add a new customer if parameter MV_SFCADCLI is configured by backoffice.

Procedures

To add a new customer:

1. In the customer management window, click Add.

The customer addition window is displayed, divided in two parts:

Main folder

In this folder, define customer identification data, such as: customer type, company name, trade name, phone, CGC, I.E. and e-mail.

If the CGC field is filled out with an invalid number, the system shall display an invalid CGC, or CPF message during the customer registration process.

Customer Type field.

Selecting the Customer Type field shall directly influence the document type to be issued. You can input the following data:

F - End Consumer

This definition is important for issuing end consumer sales invoices.

L - Rural Area Producer

This definition is important for issuing end consumer sales invoices.

R - Reseller

This definition can be used in various taxing situations which influence tax and duty calculations. The taxation method is the type of input and output used when issuing the invoice.

S - Solidary

This definition is important for issuing sales invoices with tax replacement, that is, with calculated or withheld Solidary ICMS.

X - Export

This definition is important for issuing export sales invoices.

Address folder.

In this folder, define customer location data, such as: address, neighborhood, postal code, city and state.

2. After entering all relevant data, click Save.

The system shall display a confirmation message.

3. Click OK to finish.

The system shall return to the customer management window.
