Detail Folder

In this folder find the New, Modify, Delete, and Detail options, which you can use to add a product to the order, check or modify product data, and to delete items from the order.

Procedures

To add a product item to an order:

1. In the order addition window's detail folder, click N.

The new item window is displayed for product selection.

2. Click Product.

The product window is displayed to allow product selection.

3. Click  in front of the Group field, to choose the product group.

The group's product file listing is displayed.

4. Choose desired product and click OK.

The system shall return to the new item window # X, with the selected product's code and description.

5. Click Quantity, or enter the amount of product to be sold.
6. Click Discount, or enter the discount percentage to grant customer, if needed.

If discount is granted, when confirming addition of order, the system shall display a message with the product's price after discount.

7. After filling out all fields, click OK.

The system shall return to the order addition window.

When back with the added product, the system shall display the amount to be paid by customer on the Total field.

To change an order's item:

1. After choosing desired item in detail folder, Click A.

The selected item's window is displayed for modifications.

Use this window to change the product, its quantity, and discount percentage, and also delete the product to add a new one.

2. After making needed changes, click OK to confirm them.

To delete an item:

1. After choosing desired item in detail folder, Click E.

The system deletes the item from the product addition window.

To check item details:

1. After choosing desired item in detail folder, Click D.

The added item's details are displayed.

This window displays the added product's data (product, quantity, price, discount, and the total for the item).

2. After checking data, click OK to return to the order addition window.
