Ranges

This register is considered the most important because, in this phase, it is defined the calibration and acceptance methods of each part of an instrument/Range(s) family.

Now, in order to improve this understanding, you may simulate the registering of some Universal Paquimeter Families. In this phase, you may define the family parts, organ, calibrator, acceptance standards, calibration points (if type calibration is different to Calibrator/Complete Calibrator) related to the standard instruments Families, etc.

Next, the system shows you a simplified relationship flow to demonstrate which information is used as well as the links to be done:

(*) - It will be valid just when registered; that is, if the user will calibrate an instrument, using standard instruments. These must be registered and, in this phase, you will have to do just the links.

Tip:

The above structure shows you the importance of this register because, as you could notice in this phase (Range Register), all the calibration rastreability (and all the items mentioned previously) will be defined. Another important aspect is that the above structure can be extended to any instrument.

Procedures

To register the ranges:

1. In the maintenance registering window, select option Add.

The system displays the adding screen.

2. Fill out each field according to the field help.
3. To create standards automatically, click Create Standards.

A new screen to insert data information is displayed, as the one that is showed in Standard Register.

4. Check data and confirm it.
5. You can also register standards by ranges, through the option Standards in the menu.

Important:

The Parameter MV_QATUESC, when configured with 1, defines the mandatory calibration to the range that is linked to the Instruments Family.
