Quality Control
When the Quality Protheus and the Material environments are integrated, specifically Purchases and Inventory/Costs, you can control the Quality Control write-offs.
To do so, some steps must be observed when configuring entered data.
Procedures
To configure quality control write-offs, check the following data:
1. | In the Product Registry, Q.C. folder. |
Said product, when registered, must indicate the field:
• | Q.C. Types |
This field displays Materials and SigaQuality.
Upon selection of the M-Materials, the Release of Material sent to Q.C. is performed through the Inventory/Costs and Purchasing environments, through the Q.C. Write-offs.
Upon selection of Q - SigaQuality, the Release of Material sent to Q.C. is performed through the Inflow Inspection Environment, through the Results. Thus, while this fields' content equals Q, upon material inflow, the files related to said inflow are recorded, and control is performed entirely in the Inflow Inspection Environment.
• | In the Parameters configuration. |
Set the following parameters in the Configurator Environment:
• | MV_CQ |
• | MV_DIRCQ |
2. | in the TIO - Inflow and Outflow Type Registry. |
Register a TIO that controls Inventory updates, through the following field:
• | Update Inventory |
Indicates if the product quantity balance must be updated. Thus, this field must be completed with a Y.
Example:
Upon selling a material, an outflow document is issued to customer, and it is subtracted from its inventory balance.
For customer service operations, inventory balance updates are unnecessary, for there is no merchandise outflow.
3. | In the Inflow Document. |
Product inflow documentation, such as the inflow invoice, must use the previously registered TIO, which controls inventory updates.
4. | Upon completion of described steps, the Results displays the Q.C. Write-offs folder, where procedures shown must be executed. |
