Situation Classes
In this routine, correlate possible supplier situation classifications, in view of needed inflow inspections.
The system displays four previously registered situations:
Classification |
Situation |
A |
Assured |
B |
Qualified |
C |
Prequalified |
D |
Unqualified |
Each of these classifications defines supplier acceptance, ascribed at time of inflow inspection. Such classifications correspond to skip-lot criteria, considering respective IQF notifications (lower and upper limits).
When classified, a supplier is ascribed points according to skip-lot criteria. Thus, it cannot be different from A and B. That is, if supplier is classified as equal to or above C, this supplier cannot be referred to the product in binding Product Registry X Supplier.
