Situation Classes

In this routine, correlate possible supplier situation classifications, in view of needed inflow inspections.

The system displays four previously registered situations:

Qualified

C

Prequalified

Unqualified

 

Each of these classifications defines supplier acceptance, ascribed at time of inflow inspection. Such classifications correspond to skip-lot criteria, considering respective IQF notifications (lower and upper limits).

When classified, a supplier is ascribed points according to skip-lot criteria. Thus, it cannot be different from A and B. That is, if supplier is classified as equal to or above C, this supplier cannot be referred to the product in binding Product Registry X Supplier.

Important:

The situation class is mandatory in the Product X Supplier registry.
The chosen skip-lot criterion for each situation class must conform to IQF indexes.

Procedures

To add new Situation Classes to supplier:

1. In the Situation Class registration window, select Add.
2. Complete the data according to field help instructions.
2. Check data and confirm them.
