Blockage/Release
This option classifies the current product specification situation, granting manually defined control of its utilization in the environment's processes.
When selected, the system defines the product as:
| • | Available  The product can be used in all inspections. |
| • | Blocked Prevents inspection activity. |
If a blocked product is selected during inspection, the system displays a message reporting the product's blockage and preventing its use, until released.
Procedures
To block or release product specifications:
| 1. | In the Specifications Maintenance window, place cursor on desired specification, checking its status, according to its Caption, and desired course of action, if: |
Release a blocked product or block a released product.
| 2. | Select the Blockage/Release option on the menu. |
The system displays a small window with the selected specification's data, and a release or blockage message.
| 3. | Confirm them. |
The specification's status is modified according to action taken.
