Indicator Group

The Indicator Group register is meant to group a set of indicators that share the same purpose into a single entity, but in different scorecards.

For example, there may be several indicators named Gross Invoicing from different branches (scorecards), all of them with the same formula composition. However, each formula uses different indicators.

The indicator group is used when the formula of one of these indicators is changed because, in theory, formulas of other indicators should be changed too.

Therefore, SGI automatically displays all indicators of the group so you can change other indicators, if necessary.

Procedures

To register an Indicator Group:

1. In Register menu, select Indicator Group.
2. Select New.
3. Enter:
• Name: Enter a single name for this group.
• Description: Enter a description for this group.
4. Click Save.
5. To create indicators of this group (at this point), click the folder Indicators.

In the indicator register, you can also inform the group.

6. Click Edit and then New.
7. Create the indicator. (To learn more, refer to: Indicator File).
8. Click Save in the group file.
