Task Scheduler

You can schedule tasks to be performed in specific periods defined previously, such as to import data, run an ADVPL function or display warnings of due action plans.

Besides registering tasks, you must start the scheduler. It can be automatically made by Protheus® server, adding the following line to the configuration file:

SGISchedInit=1

In the SGI job section, this job must be inside ONSTART section of Protheus® configuration file (AppServer.ini)

You can also start or stop this service manually, in the screen of the task scheduler. Once you start or stop a schedule, wait a few seconds and then update the screen so you can see the scheduler current status. (running or stopped)
