Supplier Specific Sampling Plan

The Sampling Plan defines the sampling regimen to apply products, through collected samples, as displayed in the Sample Plan Register.

Such register determines the number of product units to inspect per individual lot (sample size or sample size series) and the lot acceptance criterion (Approval or Rejection Number).

The values displayed in this routine are of previously registered table corresponding to NBR 5426 norm. To remain true to said norm, such values cannot be changed. Thus, to add own sampling criteria, entered fields are different from those related to norm, and require the creation of formulae for lot size calculation.

Upon inflow inspection test classification, a specific sampling plan can be linked to the tests, though using Product Specification Register and Product x Supplier bonding data, where desired revision is entered. Thus, upon entering such specification in this register, only those revisions' tests are displayed, so they can be specified in the sampling plan.

This routine also allows you to control the sampling plan revision, aiming to maintain the defined specification history for the product. Every time a new revision is defined in the Product Specification Register, automatically, the Test Specific Sampling Plan specifications are created, considering: the new product revision and the essays with their respective plans, defined in the Product x Supplier Register. In case it is manual, enter the supplier, product, revision, and test codes, which become associated to registered sampling plan.

Automatic sampling plan creation occurs as follows:

Imagine the specification of product PROD, revision 01, with tests 001, 002 and 003, when supplier FORNEC A has sampling plans associated to tests 001 and 002.
You create in Product Specification Register, to PROD revision 02, with tests 001, 002 e 004.
Upon confirmation of addition, the system checks all plans defined in prior revision (PROD 01), related to product x supplier, comparing all tests common to this revision (PROD 01) and the new revision (PROD 02). If tests are common to both, a new definition of Test specific Sampling Plan is created, taking the new revision (02) and the tests defined for each product X supplier into account.
Thus, we have the following: plan specifications are created for FORNEC A, where you have PROD, revision 02, with sampling plans defined in tests 001 and 002, coinciding with revisions 01 and 02.

In automatic creation, the Product Specification is common to the entire Product X Supplier binding, although tests associated to specifications can be defined by supplier. In this case, there is a need to associate all constant tests of specification to the supplier. Thus, there can be distinct specifications for each supplier, considering the same product specification.

Through the Product Specification Duplication, you may also suggest the sampling plan taking the current and previous revisions into account.

The automatic test specific sampling plan update is available through Add option.

Procedures

To register a Test Specific Sampling Plan:

1. In the Test Specific Sampling Plan maintenance window, select Add.
2. Complete the fields according to Field Help instructions.

Only text type tests can have respective fields completed.

3. Check data and confirm them.

The system organizes display of tests according to the following criterion: Lab + Sequence.
