IQS Factors
The IQS - Supplier Quality System Qualification Index, represents the degree of conformity to the Supplier's Quality System in relation to ISO 9000 Norm recommendations, determined through formal evaluations.
This calculation criterion is used for suppliers whose IQSs have been evaluated, or not yet so.
The IQS is not directly applied to the Supplier Qualification Index calculation. Before using it, the Inflow Inspections Environment converts the IQS percentage to points, basing itself on registered Conversion Factors (fC).
In case the Supplier Quality Warranty System has not been evaluated, the maximum score is assumed (1.0) as Conversion Factor for the IQF calculation.
If the supplier does not have the IQS calculation, he cannot surpass the B - Qualified classification, even if the IQF-A reaches the proper score, if the MV_QASSIQS parameter = N.
The supplier whose IQS has been calculated can reach the A - Assured classification, according to table.

If you need to use other System Quality indices, you may modify them or add new ones through the Quality Index routines.
Procedures
To add values to IQS Factors:
| 1. | In the IQS Factor Value Registration window, select Add and complete fields according to field help instructions. |
| 2. | Upon completing the fields, check and confirm them. |
