Attach Document

This option enables to associate different documents and/or files with the test inspected or to be inspected. For this, the following parameters must be configured through Configurator environment:

To define the directory path in which temporary files are saved before saving the attached files in the directory defined in the parameter MV_QIPDOC.

• confluencepage-8b84e787-5caa-4500-a10e-218ab036d6bd

To define the standard directory path in which test attachments are saved.

Procedures

Attaching document and/or files to tests:

1. In Laboratories folder, place the cursor on the test you want and click Attach Document.
2. Fill out fields according to field help instructions.
3. Click Add/View Attached Document.

A screen is displayed to locate the file you want.

4. After selecting the file, confirm it to display the question:

Do you want to view the Document now?

If yes, the document is displayed through a device of document view.

Some file formats cannot be viewed through this device.
5. Once viewed the file, Attachment field is automatically filled out with a control sequence generated internally.
6. You must fill out Description field to identify the attached file/document.

• You can attach several files/documents to a single test.
• Attachments are saved when the Result is confirmed, being organized in the following sequence:
• Production Order
• Operation
• Laboratory
• Test
7. Check data entered and confirm them.
