Adding formulas:

1. In the window of Tests of Product Specification, place the cursor on the Formula field concerning the calculated test and press [Enter].

c0f9dc52-023a-49b8-af1c-3e3a437fe41fImportant:

Remember this test must be configured to enable the entry of formulas, according to what was shown in the previous table.

A screen is displayed to configure the formula.

2. The tests available to compose the test calculation are displayed on the screen.

Select the test (s) you want by double-clicking on it (them) until it is (they are) displayed on the lower screen.

3. To complete the formula, between the selection of a test and of another one, choose the graphic sign that represents the operation you want (addition, subtraction, division, or multiplication), or yet specific signs (parentheses) or functions (root, average, Abs).
4. Thus, for each selected test, select also the graphic sign of the operation you want to make, thereby creating the formula you want.

This formula, when stored in the test, totalizes the other tests as measurement values are entered in Results.

5. To make simple operations, as a sum of tests, select the first test, then the addition graphic sign, and afterwards the following tests.

The formula is displayed on the lower screen.

6. To calculate the average of values, select the first test, then the average sign, and afterwards the following tests.

The formula is displayed on the lower screen.

7. With date or hour, select the first test, then the graphic sign, and afterwards the following tests.

In this case, the following formats are adopted by the system:

dd/mm

Where:

dd   = two characters that determine the day

mm = two characters that determine the month

HH:MM

Where:

HH = two characters that determine the hour

MM =  two characters that determine the minutes

Values must be entered with slash sign (/) for date, and colon sign (:) for hours and minutes.

8. The formula is displayed on the lower screen.
9. After creating formulas, confirm them.

The system returns to the test screen.

c0f9dc52-023a-49b8-af1c-3e3a437fe41fImportant:

For formulas of Root, ABS, and Average, you must first enter the formula, and then the test by clicking it.

These formulas do not allow operations with more than one test, for example. Average(TEST1) + Average(TEST2).

To make these formulas available, at least one test must be entered.
