Acceleration of Depreciation in Lots
This routine accelerates the depreciation in lots, with the purpose to automate the inclusion of type 07 – Acceleration of depreciation of assets selected by the user.
After adding an asset with type 07, the depreciation occurs in an accelerated way, as this asset is depreciated using its regular purchase fee plus the acceleration fee.
This routine also offers the resource of acceleration finish which writes-off items of type07, from assets selected, canceling the acceleration of the depreciation for the next months.
Pre requirements
Before accelerating the depreciation:

The assets with accelerated depreciation must be type 01 and have at least one depreciation per month. |

The acceleration of depreciation in lot must occur immediately after the last calculation of depreciation. |

The confluencepage-6b2f61ee-a62f-48fa-8d7b-3c99d514dbb2 80A to account must be configured for the activation of the acceleration of depreciation in lot (inclusion of asset type ‘07’). |
Before finishing the acceleration:

The assets must have acceleration in lot finished must be type 07, created as from the acceleration of depreciation in lot. |

The confluencepage-6b2f61ee-a62f-48fa-8d7b-3c99d514dbb2 81A to account must be configured for the end of the acceleration of depreciation in lot (inclusion of asset type ‘07’). |
Procedures
To activate the acceleration of depreciation in lot:

After selecting Accel. Depr. Lot, the System displays the wizard to use the routine. |
| 3. |
Select Activation of Acceleration and click Next. |
| 4. |
Select one of the options of acceleration of depreciation in lot, which can be: |
| • |
Method: acceleration method. In this option, select if the item depreciation of acceleration fee to be created must be calculated based on the Shift - with options of 50% and 100% (On Shift – 1.5 and Two Shift 2.0, respectively) - or by a Percentage to be defined by the user. |
| • |
Shift to be accelerated: if the method is per shift, select the depreciation fee in 50% or 100%. |
| • |
Percentage to be accelerated: if the method is per Percentage, enter acceleration fee |

Select the type of selection of assets, which can be: |

By Range: questions (From/To) for the selection of range of assets to be processed. |
| • |
Per entity: select the entities (Asset Group, Depreciation Account, Cost Center, Accounting Items, Class Value) with assets to be processed. |
If the selection of the assets is made by range, enter the information necessary and click Next.
If the selection of assets is made by entity, select assets for the acceleration, by mean of Entities, and click Next.

The confirmation screen is displayed. Click Yes to confirm it. |

Select the accounting type: |
| • |
Accounting: indicates if the accounting is online (Yes) or offline (No). |
| • |
Display Entry.: if the accounting is online, indicate if the accounting entry is displayed in the confirmation screen. |
| • |
Group Entry.: if the accounting is online, indicate if the accounting entry is grouped. |
The system processes the acceleration of depreciation in lots of assets selected.
To deactivate the acceleration of depreciation in lot:

After selecting Accel. Depr. Lot, the System displays the wizard to use the routine. |
| 3. |
Select option End Acceleration and click Next. |
| 4. |
Check type of asset selection, with acceleration of depreciation in lot to be finished, whether: |
By Range: questions (From/To) for the selection of range of assets to be processed.
Per entity: select the entities (Asset Group, Depreciation Account, Cost Center, Accounting Items, Class Value) with assets to be processed.
If the selection of the assets is made by range, enter the information necessary and click Next.
If the selection of assets is made by Entity, select assets for acceleration, by mean of entities, and click Next.

The confirmation screen is displayed. Click Yes to confirm. |

Select the accounting type: |

Accounting: indicates if the accounting is online (Yes) or offline (No). |

Display Entry.: if the accounting is online, indicate if the accounting entry is displayed in the confirmation screen. |

Group Entry.: if the accounting is online, indicate if the accounting entry is grouped. |
The system concludes the acceleration of depreciation in lots of assets selected.
