Lawsuit Conclusion
When the final judgment is rendered in any instance or even when a deal is made between the parties, by means of the Previous Settlement Council of the Union, a series of procedures is performed to finish the process.
The conclusion of the process occurs when there is no more appeals to be interposed by none of the parties.
When the company does not have any liquidation to make, according to final judgment, the process is filed. When there is liquidation, the restated value is calculated upon the amount due by the company. If the parties disagree about the amount due/to pay, an expert is designated to calculate the final value the company has to pay.
Then, the plaintiff schedules the payments through Payroll Environment.
If the company claims to be unable to pay, the process goes to a phase called Execution. In this phase, the financial situation of the company is ascertained: financial investment balances, shares in the stock market, etc. If it is confirmed the evaluated amount is not enough to settle the obligation, the collateral is levied upon to carry out the sentence.
