Updating Lawsuit Data

Some events may occur and change the lawsuit as time goes by, for instance: the case is judged and judgment is rendered, or one of the parties (the losing party) presents the appeal, or expert evidence is required during the case, etc.

Thus, this file must be updated so it can represent the lawsuit real situation and allow an effective management.

Procedures

To update a lawsuit:

1. In Lawsuits, click and select the lawsuit desired.
2. Then select Edit.
3. In the search window, inform the item to be looked up and confirm it.

System displays all data from the lawsuit.

4. Fill out or change data to update the case progress system.
5. Check data and confirm procedure.
