Trend Indicators

This indicator influences other indicators and may impact the results expected from the affected indicators. That is, you can use this resource to establish a relationship between the indicators.

This type of analysis is very useful to indirectly analyze which indicators affect the performance of the results indicator within a strategic objective.

Procedures

To implement the trend indicators concept:

1. In the Indicator register, select the Trend Indicator box.
2. Click the Influence folder and add the indicators to be influenced by this trend indicator.
3. By analyzing the objective and its indicators, the Strategic Map, Strategic Central or the Panels, you can analyze which trend indicators positively or negatively influence the results indicator.
4. On the Strategic Map, click an objective to view the drilldown.
5. In the Strategic Central, click Drill Down of the card of Objective.
6. Then Select the Display Trend Indicators option in the query viewed.

If any trend indicator is associated to the indicator, it is displayed on a turquoise background.

7. On any card generated by the Strategic Map, Central or Dashboards, use the  button to check the information on the results indicator on the trend indicators that influence it.
