Demurrage or Dispatch Maintenance
With this routine, you can control the values of Demurrage or Dispatch generated in load or dispatch of products in shipment. When you add a Demurrage, the processes (shipment phase) are related to a certain Ship, Trip and Port of Destination (if the process is Non-reversible).
The Demurrage processes present the following features:
The folder Registration (table EG0) is divided into four subfolders (Registration, Date, Dem./Disp. and Observation), representing the registry data of the process. Still in this folder, there is an area destined to the Demurrage transaction (EG2 table), which consists in rows representing the time of load/dispatch (Date, Load or Dispatch Type, Time, Time Counting Percentage, Time of Use and Observations). Data inserted in these rows form the journal of operations executed and they are important to calculate the time of Demurrage or Dispatch.
The next folder is called Processes (table EG1). After informing the Ship, Trip and Port of Destiny (Non-reversible case) in the registration data, the system automatically provides a relation of processes already shipped, so they can be selected (Select/Clear). By clicking Add shipment you can also add a shipment in the Demurrage process, but if the shipment does not belong to the same ship and trip, the system will ask if the shipment must be corrected.
In the footer of the maintenance window (EG0 table), it is displayed the values calculated while filling the information, besides some editable fields which enable the update of the process due to negotiations.
