RE Extension

It is important to note that the system enables the RE extension just once. However, to fulfill the cases in which the RE is incorrectly postponed by the user, the system makes available a facilitator, in order to enable certain users to edit the validity date, even after the extension. For that, a group of users must be created with specific permissions inside the system, via configurator module (SIGACFG).

Users who join this group can edit the extension date, even if the RE was already extended. For all the other users, the system keeps the same assessments already existing. Parameter MV_AVG0122 was created to enable the user to configure and indicate to the system which group will have more rights in the referred routine.

Procedures

To postpone a validity date of a RE attachment:

1.	In RE Extension, available in the menu Updates \ Siscomex.

2.	In the postponing window of RE, select the RE attachment to be postponed and click Extend.

3.	Enter the new validity date and click Ok to confirm it. The RE attachment status in the browse is updated and displays as Extended.
