Creating a Data Warehouse in SIGADW

Important:

Only administrators can create data warehouses

 

After accessing SIGADW with the Administrator user of SIGADW, select New to create a new data warehouse.

After that, the following screen is displayed, where the items below must be entered:

• Name: a name that characterizes this data warehouse.
• Description: a description for this DW.
• Icon: choose of one the available icons for this DW.

Click Send, and SIGADW goes to the Data Warehouse created.

With these steps, you create a Data Warehouse.

Tip:

In the same database, you can create several Data Warehouses.

 

From this, the creation of the model Star Schema starts inside SIGADW.
