Product Developer
The Product Developer module allows the user to manage the creation of new products that will be manufactured and commercialized by the company in the future.
It is a development environment that has functions similar to the Engineering module. However, it uses a separate database, not affecting or polluting the original one, where information about the product engineering are recorded.
It is integrated with legacy of Datasul and Protheus systems and, so, it uses several pieces of information that are entered in these systems routines.
The main module functionalities are:
| • | Develop new versions of a product, controlling them separately; |
| • | Store and query the history of developed versions; |
| • | Evaluate the best version of a developed product before releasing the item for engineering; |
| • | Generate manufacturing orders for prototypes; |
| • | Execute material requirements for the prototype manufacturing orders; |
| • | Evaluate the manufacturing cost of each developed version; |
| • | Control the approval of the version developed in a product, turning the approved product into a common item of engineering. |
