Parameters

In its routines, the Microsiga Protheus® System uses standard or specific configurations called parameters.

Parameter is a variable that acts as a key element when certain processing is run. According to its content, you can obtain different results.

All variables start with prefix MV_, and they act on different system operations.

Service Import and Export module uses several parameters. Some of them are common to other system modules. If these parameters are changed, the new content is considered for the other modules. Some parameters are merely generic configurations, as configuration of peripherals (like printers), opening dates, currency nomenclatures, among others.

Important:

Parameters started by numbers (after the prefix MV_) must be considered in the cell # .
