Annotation Rules
With the help of the Default Schedule Table, the rules regulate the annotation of employee time records, defining the manner by which occurrences of events such as number of hours worked, overtime, deductions, PWR, night shift differential, interval, absences, tardiness, flexible schedule etc, are registered. The rules allow establishing periods for calculating events and tolerances permitted for them.
For special bonuses such as Prima Dominical, Descanso Laborado and Festivo Laborado, used in Mexico, read the corresponding topic to learn about the procedures.
One requirement by Decree MTE 1,510/2009 is the payment of non-extraordinary hours. Thus, it is mandatory to configure the annotation rule so that these hours be calculated by the system. Consequently, it may affect the payment of monthly-paid employees, since the rule usually is not configured to calculate worked hours for this category. So, the Reg.Hr.Fol field in the rule itself determines whether non-extraordinary hours calculated in the annotation are to be discarded from the Monthly Calculation or not. If discarded, they are not sent to payroll. For this case, events bound to the following attendance control identifiers are included:
For companies where the rest/eating interval is pre-indicated, the Pre-Indic. field in the annotation rule indicates which interval automatically generated is considered as being pre-indicated. |
