Parameters

The Microsiga Protheus® system uses some general and specific configurations called parameters.

A parameter is a variable that functions as a key element in some procedures. Results may vary depending on parameter contents.

The Personnel Management module uses several parameters, some of which are common to other system modules. If they are changed, this configuration remains valid for the other system modules. However, some of them are only general configurations, such as peripheral configuration (printers, for example), opening dates, currency nomenclature, etc.
