Parameters

The Microsiga Protheus® system uses some general and specific configurations called parameters.

A parameter is a variable that functions as a key element in some procedures. According to its content, different results are possible.

The Personnel Management module uses several parameters. Some of them are common to other system modules. Even though these parameters are modified, they are still applied to other modules. However, some of them are only general configurations, such as peripheral configuration (printers, for example), opening dates, currency nomenclature, etc.
