Cancel

This routine enables you to cancel documents. This action can be done only by users that generate document reviews. They are defined in responsibility levels in Documents Types Register.

Procedures

To cancel documents:

1. On maintenance window Documents, place cursor on register and select Cancel.

System displays message to warn user on cancel.

2. Confirm it.

System displays text box in memo field form to type text on Document Review Motive. This field is mandatory.

3. Enter review motive.

Screen to view Document will be displayed.

4. Click Finish Document to save cancellation.

Important:

Document cancellation is finished after its distribution so all users involved are aware of cancellation.
By finishing, warning of pending of canceled document is sent to addressees.
Cancelled document can be reactivated, printed or viewed in Distribution Maintenance, item Cancelled Documents.
