Main Fields and Controls
Required Fields
• | Source (client, store and/or case) - Filters cases to be relocated. If you do not fill out the Case field, all entered cases of the Client/Store are relocated. |
• | Target (client and store) - Client/store where new cases are created for the relocation of the originals. |
Processes performed by the relocation routine
a. | The old case is closed and fields NewClientCode, NewStoreCode and NewCaseCode (numbers of new client, company and case) are filled out. |
b. | In the new case the fields OldClientCode, OldStoreCode and OldCaseCode (numbers of old client, company and case) are filled out. |
c. | Transfers all pending entries of Time Sheet, Expenses and Fixed Price Services (not invoiced and out of WO) to the new case. |
d. | The proceedings registered in the source case are transferred to the new case and when searching the former case in SIGAJURI, the system displays a message with the number of the new case. |
e. | Invoices generated for the source case and the entries of Time Sheet, Expenses, Fixed Price Services invoiced or in WO are not changed. |
Regardless of status, the relocation does not cancel the proforma invoice. It only displays a message when the proforma invoice with relocated case is added to the invoice issue queue, notifying that the proforma invoice contains relocated, unrevised cases and offering you the option to proceed with the issue of the invoice.
Regardless of case numbering, the new contract(s) is/are appended and the relocated case also remains attached.
Set the parameter MV_JTVENJF to 1=Yes to justify the screens blocked at Closing.
IMPORTANT:
When the Case Number is preserved:
In the Relocation, if the System realized that a Case closed with the same target Client/Store code already exists, the Case at issue is reopened. However, to maintain System integrity, the Case data are updated again, as changes to its Target may have occurred. The system identification of an already existing Case number may occur when the case is Relocated again to its Source.
The new case acquires the same attachments as the source case; that is, it is automatically attached to the contract to which the source case was attached.
The register of the Case displays a new tab with the Case Relocation history and a new option called Cases Not Revised. The tab displays the main relocation information, with the data and employee who executed the relocation, whether it has been revised or not and, if so, when and by whom, etc. Now, the Cases Not Revised option makes it easier to revise the relocated cases, so you can validate data at the new client. When you activate this option, the System displays a list with all Relocated Cases and with pending revisions.
