Exceptions by Period
This register is used to determine exceptions to the Default Schedule Table to be applied to one or more employees for a period of time.
The exception type can be registered as worked, not worked, with PWR or compensated, and you can enter the day type, regular and night overtime table, calculation of ninth hour, entry/exit schedules (from 1st to 4th hour of entry and exit), the meal type and the prevailing rule for the annotation.
Some fields of the work shift impact the calculation of hours worked and intervals, then, they must be calculated again through the Calculate Hours option. For frustrated shifts, the content of the Default Schedule Table and Annotation Rule fields must be taken into account. |
Inclusion, change or exclusion of an exception depends on the period to which it refers. For instance, the date of an exception cannot be changed in relation to a closed annotation period. The last closed period of the Electronic Attendance Control for each employee is saved in employee file (SRA table) when the routine Closing is run. |
You can add exceptions automatically through any other system routine even if it is not from Electronic Attendance Control module. Thus, you can add, change and delete employee exceptions used in record classification/annotation.
This routine enables inclusion of exceptions by period for shifts used in calculation of SLA limit dates.
Example:
The shift 001 was registered with a period of work from 8 am to 6 pm and from Monday to Friday. On a certain day, there will be no business. This day can be registered in the routine Exceptions by period for the shift 001 and when there is calculation of SLA date of a service, the day mentioned will not be considered day worked.
Procedures
In order to register an exception by period:
| 1. | In Exceptions by Period, select Add. |
The system displays the Add screen, subdivided into tabs:

| • | Schedule |
| 2. | Check the data in all tabs and confirm it. |
| 3. | The Calculate Hours is available in the menu. |
Select it according to need.
Related Features
It allows you to select the Schedule Table for the desired week.
