DSR

Employee absences should be considered to calculate the discount of Compensated Weekly Rest (DSR). It means a delay can cause a rest day discount, even holidays. However, it is understood that holiday is not discounted.

To meet such requirement, parameter MV_DSRHORI determines that holiday is not considered to calculate the DSR discount.

When the parameter is defined as 2 and rest day coincide with holiday, there is only one discount, DSR.

Example:

Days of the week

Day Types

MV_DDSFER = 1 (holiday discounted)

MV_DDSFER = 2 (holiday not discounted)

This way, if the parameter MV_DSRHORI is configured as 2, DSR discount is not calculated for holidays.

Differentiated Calculation

Now available is the differentiated DSR holiday calculation in days worked for hourly paid employees.

When you configure and activate the created MV_DSRHORI parameter, the System checks the quantity of hours on the table for the day the holiday took place and uses it in the calculation.

The MV_DSRHORI parameter calculates the holiday DSR, based on the quantity of hours on the table.

Example:

The employee has 7.33 hours per day, though the holiday to which the DSR refers has 8 hours on the table.

The system registers 7.33 for Sundays (DSR) plus 8 hours for the DSR holiday; that is, upon performing the monthly calculation, the employee with four Sundays (DSR) and one holiday receives approximately 37.33 in centesimal, which is, (7.33 * 4) + 8.
