Entrance Control
Use this routine to record vehicle arrivals and departures, using a route register from the Asset Maintenance module to gain real time service order status control for each asset, and also the symptoms register for service orders.
Another Entrance Control feature, in the case of a vehicle with pending document payments with at least one overdue installment, is entrance blocking by indicating the document at issue, ensuring that vehicle documents are in order prior to starting a trip.
To use Entrance Control, you need the prior registration of other items, such as Asset Maintenance vs. Fleet Management. The Entrance Control default settings require the use of routes in vehicle movement processes, thus better managing trips. However, the MV_NGROTAS parameter allows vehicle movements to be not controlled by routes.
AREA: Vehicles
All company vehicles of the system can be viewed. With reference to the company and branch wherein the code and location of each vehicle are registered (Branch or Route).
You may still view the vehicle status according to the asset register. When you select a vehicle, the service order areas and vehicle arrivals/departures related to the record selected are automatically updated.
Arrival : It executes a vehicle arrival in the system branch. Use it to execute the first arrival of a vehicle in Entrance Control, or to execute the arrivals of vehicles still in transit.
Departure : It executes the departure of a vehicle for a trip (referred to in the route register of the MNT module) when it is at the branch.
A/D Movements : It allows the viewing, adding and deletion of vehicle movement records through the Entrance Control routine.
Locate Vehicle : It locates a vehicle in the browser. You may search by Code or License Plate. The vehicle is positioned as soon as you confirm its identification.
S.O. History Log : With a vehicle selected, right click the \"S.O. History Log\" option to query the Service Order History Log of the asset, as done in the asset register.
Filter Vehicles : It allows a filter in the vehicle browser, to display only vehicles within specified parameters. You can select a branch gap, such as only vehicles in transit, or at branches.
Configurations: It allows changes to Entrance Control configurations while the routine is in use, such as the time of automatic updates and the display of arrivals and departures in the browser (both configurations are done through configurator parameters, but can be changed while the routine is being used without affecting dictionary parameters).
AREA: Service Orders
When a vehicle is selected, all its Service Orders are displayed, whether preventive or corrective, when approved but unfinished. In the browser, you can view a semaphore with three colors representing the S.O. status (according to Caption button). The estimate of departure is based on the average time calculation of each stage and symptom registered for the S.O., as well as the estimate calculation based on inputs. The time resulting in the highest value is displayed in the browser as reference.
Open Corrective S.O. : It allows Service Order to be opened for vehicle selected in browser.
Print S.O. : It allows a Service Order to be printed when selected in browser.
Caption : It shows the color caption of the semaphore used for viewing the Service Orders of some assets. Three colors are used:
• | Green: Normal – it indicates the S.O. is up to date with a future estimated date. |
• | Yellow: In estimated execution - the execution of S.O. is estimated to occur at the present moment (the period is between estimated start and estimated departure). |
• | Red: Delayed – the S.O. start date is behind the system date. |
AREA: Arrivals and Departures
All movements performed by a vehicle, selected from a time period of days counted with reference to the base date and configurable through the MV_NGVDMES parameter, are displayed in the browser.
By default the variation is of seven days. Upon selection of a vehicle, all its arrivals and departures performed in the last seven days are displayed.
Visitors
Besides fleet movement control, you can use the Entrance Control routine to follow up on visitors to the company. After the record of arrival, the visitor remains in browser until it departs from branch.
The visitor control screen is simple and offers quick options for such things as executing visitor departures or right-clicking to view records.
