MTBF - MTTR Analysis

This routine issues MTTR (Mean Time To Repair) and MTBR (Mean Time Between Repair) analysis reports. You can specify in parameters what you want to analyze.

You can analyze the time between failures and to repair with a time amount analysis.

In the MTBF/MTTR Analysis report, when you answer the Consider Asset Calendar? question of the DAYS column with the YES option, the number of hours divided by the time load defined in the Asset Calendar is shown. If the question is answered as NO, the division is by 24 hours.

If the Asset Calendar has different time loads for each day of the week, the daily average of the sum of the daily time loads divided by the work days is used.

Example 1:

(TORNO001 works from Monday to Friday adding up to 40 hours per week.

Example 2:

(FRESA001 has a MTBF of 150 hours and a MTTR of 5 hours, both monthly)

(FRESA002 has a MTBF of 300 hours and a MTTR of 10 hours, both monthly)

The general average is:

MTBF 225 and MTTR 7,5
