Protheus system routines use some general and specific configurations called parameters.
A parameter is a variable that acts as a key element to run certain processing. According to its content, you can obtain different results.
CRM module uses several parameters. Some of them are common to other system modules. If they are changed, the configuration continues being valid for other system modules.
Some parameters are merely generic configurations, such as: configuration of peripherals (printers, for example), opening dates, currency nomenclatures, etc.
