This routine purports to create teamster contracts for aggregated and/or outsourced drivers, solidifying the conditions initially agreed upon with the teamsters for the rendering of transport services.
Upon creating the teamster contract, all performed payments and advances are updated in the financial environment. Moreover, you can check the freight payable values, the trip's date and time, the driver, the transported volume, the calculated taxes, the toll values, the expenses incurred, etc.
The teamster contract can be created by the gap of trips performed or by the interval of the periods of the finished trips.
 Important:
1. You need to create, in the Transport Expense, available in the Transport menu, the expense codes to be used for verifying the transport costs of the trips, for correctly completing the MV_DESCTC and MV_DESCPDG parameters. 2. The teamster contract can only be created if the pickup, transport, or delivery trips, performed by aggregated or outsourced drivers, are registered; thus, making it possible to automatically create payable bonds related to services rendered by teamsters. 3. It is possible to enable the Teamster Contract Release concept. To do so, the MV_LIBCTC parameter must be enabled. When configured with a T (true), it makes a caption indicating the contract's status available in the Teamster Contract Maintenance window. Check further details on the Status topic. |
We now offer the Freight and Preview parameter, with which you can specify whether the system should Preview the freight payable before you create the Teamster Contract. The Preview is displayed only for Contracts of type By Trip. You can use this offer to make Additions and/or Deductions in the Teamster Contract creation Preview, through option Related Features. To do so, you must register the Type of Addition and Deduction.
Once you enter the Addition or Deduction for the Contract, the system saves this value in one of the available fields, "Addit Vl" or "Deduc Vl", so as to recalculate the Contract value, changing the value of field "Freight" and "Tax Base".
Through option Related Features, you can query the Additions and Deductions granted to the contract, so you can also conduct a detailed query of the contract freight composition.
Parameters involved in the routine:
When the Teamster Contract is created, the following parameters are considered:
- MV_TPTPDG - indicates the type of bond derived, from toll values, to be created in accounts payable (for example: PDG).
- MV_TPTCTC - indicates the type of bond, derived from the teamster contract, to be created in accounts payable (for example: C01).
- MV_TMSGRPC - indicates whether the teamster contract can issue purchase requests to individuals.
- MV_DESCTC - indicates the teamster contract expense code, used for recording the teamster contract's transport costs (for example: toll expense code - 000001).
- MV_ENTSOCO - allows you to create a teamster contract for delivery trips with no annotated event registry.
- MV_COLSOCO - allows you to create a teamster contract for pickup trips with no annotated event registry.
- MV_DESCPDG - indicates the toll expense code used for recording the cost of the tolls (for example: toll expense code - 000002).
- MV_CTCPREF - indicates the prefix of the bonds created by the Teamster Contract, related to payment of freight to the teamster.
This parameter's content can be completed with a character expression indicated in quote marks, for example: “CTCA”, with a function in ADVPL, or yet with both representations to comprise the bond's prefix; for example: “C”+cFilAnt.
- MV_LIBCTC - identifies whether to enable control of the Teamster Contract Release.
- MV_GERTIT - identifies whether the Teamster Contract creates accounts payable.
- MV_TMSRVOL - processes the prorating of the freight value to be paid for volumes picked up and/or delivered. The parameter defines the division of the freight value to be paid, calculated when the Teamster Contract is created, in proportion to volumes picked up or delivered.
Example:
Consider the calculation of the freight to be paid in the Teamster Contract with the MV_TMSRVOL parameter completed with a T.
Freight = 1,500.00
Volumes to pick up = 5
Picked up volumes = 4 (entry placed in Events)
In this example, the calculation is:
(1500 / 5) * 4 = 1200
New freight value = 1,200.00
When the MV_TMSRVOL parameter is completed with an F, there is no proration.
Important: The proration is not performed at teamster contract creation for deliveries and pickups that have not been done. |
- MV_TMSCTCA - Allow to consider discount values only from the Complementary Contract on Balance Payment. Advanced payments and tax values from the main contract will not be considered.
- MV_PAR09 - This is a question parameter in the Contract By Trip creation routine for previewing the Teamster Contract.
Procedures
To create a teamster contract per trip:
1. In Teamster Contract, select the Per Trip option.
A warning message is displayed explaining the routine's purpose.
2. To configure the interval of the trips to be considered in the teamster contract, use the Parameters option.
3. Confirm it.
4. Upon creation of the trip specific teamster contract, the system checks the content of the MV_TMSGRPC parameter. If configured with a T (true), it indicates that a purchase request to individual must be created. Thus, a freight purchase request is created.
This control is used when the teamster is an employee of a company which creates an invoice billing the freight.
To create a teamster contract per period:
1. In Teamster Contract, select the Por Período option.
A warning message is displayed explaining the routine's purpose.
2. To configure the interval of transport/suppliers' periods/services to be considered in the Teamster Contract, use the Parameters option.
3. Confirm it.
To check the result of running this routine, pay attention to:
- The saved teamster contract and it's respective fields, such as: contract number, date and time of trip, trip number, owner of vehicle, driver's code, freight value, expense advances, total value of tolls, transported volume, transported weight, calculated taxes, mileage covered (in kilometers), freight table used to calculate freight, etc.
- The bonds payable created in the Financial environment, Accounts Payable, with respect to the freight payments, to the value spent on tolls, and to expense and calculated tax advances.
