The calendar is important to define the schedule available of a resource in a week, of a cost center or the whole plant; its main purpose is to allocate machine load.

How to Add a Schedule Exception

Schedule Exceptions are used to define any and all periodic exceptions to an Employee, Cost Center or to the entire factory, such as holidays, blanket vacations, compensations, reduced workdays, etc.

To add a Schedule Exception:

·    To add the entire day as an exception, do not select the hours because those hours selected are considered worked.

·    When running the machine load, the registered exception day is not considered for allocation.



Procedures

To include schedules in calendar:

  1. In Calendar, press [F12] to configure routine parameters.

. Fill out Simultaneous?

If Yes, these parts selected will be automatically copied to the other days of the week.

2. Confirm parameters.

3. Select option Add.

The system shows a window with folders for each day of the week.

4. Inform a code and description to identify the calendar.

5. Click the day of the week required.

24 hours of the day are divided in four lines of six hours each which are divided in intervals of 15 minutes.

6. To check the period which the resource is available, click and drag the mouse over it. The periods selected must be in gray.

By checking working hours, the user must complete carefully all spaces to work and by checking them the intervals must be in blue, according to the standard of 15 minutes of the system. This time can be altered by means of parameter MV_PRECISA, which changes the Machine Load accuracy.

The field Workload in the lower part of the window shows the amount of hours checked.

7. Click the other folders to check or change the hours in all days of the week.

8. Check the data and confirm it.
