Use this routine to allocate the operations of each production order in the available Resources, considering data entered in the Calendars, Resource Blockage, Calendar Exceptions and Tools registers.

From production orders and the Operations register, the System allocates operations to the available Resources and Tools, considering the duration of each operation.

Through the registers of Operations and Resources, as well as the production order portfolio to be executed, the factory schedule is set within the following principles:

Help_buttonNote:

When a component has more than one operation script, the script registered as Standard in Product Register is always used.

In the allocation of Machine Load per final date, the optimization of allocations is directed to delivery date while, in the allocation of Machine Load per initial date, the optimization of allocations is directed to the base date. Due to this reason, two allocation modes have different results.

Allocation is enabled, considering tools or not (parameter defined before processing). Check the help of the Operations routine to learn how to configure the allocation of the tools the System considers during machine load processing.

Help_buttonImportant:

If the System is integrated with TOTVS APS (Datasul Solution), the MRP resource is replaced by the Auxiliary Software; that is, they are run outside Protheus. Even with the existence of integration, these routines remain active and unaltered. In the event of systems that do not have TOTVS APS integration resource, routines have the same functionality.

Procedures:

Doing machine load:

  1. In Machine Load, read the routine description and click Parameters.

A screen is displayed to configure the parameters.

2. Fill out data according to field help instructions.

3. Check parameter settings and click OK.

4. Click Allocate, for the System to calculate the Machine Load Allocation.

If the station has MS Project® - (Software that manages Microsoft® projects) installed, chart outflow mode is requested.

5. Select Ms Project 2000® or Microsiga Protheus® to indicate the chart outflow mode.

6. Check and confirm the data.

Help_buttonTip:

Calendar in Ms Project® accepts only five shifts. Thus, calendars with more than five operating periods in a single day have the other periods discarded.

Calendar exceptions follow the same criterion of Protheus, which can be effective for a resource, cost center, or all resources. Resource blockages have identical operation.
