CAS PD-II Scale

This scale can be used on both the Assisted Sale system and the Point of Sales, and allows data to emulate different types of scales, and the emulation model to be selected is 6. SAMSUNG ECR (ER-670).

This model expects the command to send Chr(17) and the answer must be a 15-characters string in the format Chr(1)+Chr(2)+Chr(83)+<nnn.nnn> +<”kgq” ou “lbm”>+Chr(3)+Chr(4).

Procedures 1 (configuration):

Setting the scale model CAS PD-II:

1. The configuration of communication parameters must be set in the BALANCA.INI file that is created automatically by the application of FNC.
2. The parameters of the original factory configuration of this scale are:
• Baud Rate = 9600.
• Data Bits = 7.
• Parity = E (EVEN).
• Stop Bits = 1.
3. With the factory parameters, BALANCA.INI file must be configured as follows:
• [rs232-001] <Where 001 is the number of station>.
• baud = 9600.
• databits = 7.
• parity = E.
• port = <Port defined in the Stations Register>.
• stopbits = 1.

Procedures 2 (use)

Using the scale model CAS PD-II:

1. In Assisted Sales access the Station routine and select the scale model CAS PD-II.
2. Still in Assisted Sales access the Products routine and configure the fields below as follows:
• Unit of Measurement: Enter KG, MG or G.
• Scale: select option 2 - Weight.
3. Access the system Point of Sales and select the product set in the previous item (2).

The system returns the weight of the product for sale to the scale CAS PD-II.
