This operation is appropriated to establishments that hold part or total stock at third party sites.
The system evaluates the possibility to dispatch own stock located at third party sites, considering balance at third party sites as stock available for dispatch, as long as TES is configured for this operation, filling out the field Possession Balance 3.
Thus, each stock evaluation checks first the available balance for dispatch in its possession, then, the balance at third party possession.
If the balance in third party possession needs to be used, the system creates a Sale Order release item and saves, internally, a WMS blocking code (code 03). This code means that, even though the company use WMS integrated to Invoicing, this is not used, once the decision power to relocate stocks is made in the third party warehouse, which stores the stock.
This code lets the user runs all operations previous to the preparation of the outflow document, but inhibits the generation of the same until the stock release is performed.
Example A
Considering a company that has in its own stock 100 parts stored as:
These quantities are distributed in specific locations in the company's warehouse.
Sale Order 00001 requires 27 parts.
The system, supported by the integration between WMS and Invoicing Modules, decides which location the parts are retrieved from.
Example B
Considering a company that has its stock at third party sites with the following quantities:
At a time, the company needs 100 parts for Sale Order 00002.
Thus, the WMS environment is not used, once the decision to locate the part is not up to the company, but to the third party warehouse, which holds the products quantities.
Therefore, the system internally generates, in the item of Sale Order 00002, 100 parts, the code of possession 3 to indicate that the item is in third party possession.
