The following procedures encompass the update of the environment to the ECD/ECF 2023 deliveries. Not updating the environment as in the procedures described will result in errors when running the process.
ECF/2023 updates are available in the update package CTB_ECD_EXPEDICAO_CONTINUA and TAF_EXPEDICAO_CONTINUA in our download central.
For delivery, you must update both packages.

Step 1
- We recommend performing the update with the last portal releases. To perform the procedure, check the update steps in Basic Protheus 12 update and Update of the Protheus 12 dictionary. Links for download:
You must download the complete dictionary file (SXSBRA.TXT, for example) when the dictionary is differential (SDFBRA.TXT, for example), and uncompress them in folder Systemload. Although the update of this release uses only the differential file, the complete file must also be downloaded to the folder, because in the future, for example, when you create a new company or branch, the file used will be the COMPLETE one. |
Step 2
- Download the update artefacts available in the cumulative packages of modules Management Accounting and TAF. These packages contain: - Patch to update the routines involved in the ECD/ECF delivery.
- "Contents.txt" file containing the detail of the sources involved in this package.
- "Config.ZIP" file containing the updated layouts to create the text file. (E.g.: ecdlivro_g.xml). For more detail, check Layout folder for creating the text file
- "Config.ZIP" file containing the management view modules used for ECF delivery (Ex: ECF_RegL300a.cve). For more details, click here
- "Config.ZIP" file containing the base files to update the procedures responsible for updating the balances (E.g.: p12_01.sps).
Step 3 - Copy the SDFBRA.TXT file to the Systemload folder (if the file exists in this folder, delete the existing file and copy the new file). Step 4 - Copy the files hlpdfeng.txt, hlpdfpor.txt, hlpdfspa.txt to the Systemload folder. If the file exists in this folder, delete the existing file and copy the new file). Step 5 - Apply the cumulative packages of modules Management Accounting and TAF in your environment. Step 6 - Delete the log files below: Inside the system folder: Inside the Appserver folder: Step 7 - Run the UPDDISTR in your environment: Dictionary and database updater - UPDDISTR. If you want to run the UPDDISTR of Management Accounting and TAF modules a single time, use: UPDBATCH dictionary updater Step 8 - Update the base files responsible for the creation of the ECD text file. For more detail, check Layout folder for creating the text file Step 9 - Update the procedures responsible for updating the accounting balances. For more detail, check Update of Procedures. Step 10 - The previous steps refer to the update of the Protheus Accounting module.
