02. DESCRIPTION
This parameter defines the calculation procedure to be applied to assets that are blocked in the system, allowing organizations to manage how to financially handle these assets while they are unavailable for use.
Operation Details:
- 0 - Do Not Calculate: With this configuration, no calculation (whether of depreciation or correction) is performed for blocked assets. The values remain unchanged, not affecting financial records during the blocking period.
- 1 - Depreciation: If set to 1, the system calculates depreciation based on blocked items. This may be useful to reflect asset value losses, even when they are not in use, ensuring that accounting accurately mirrors asset values through time.
- 2 - Indexation: In this option, the system applies indexation to blocked assets. This is relevant to keep asset values up to date in relation to inflation or other economic variables, even when they are not active.
- 3 - Both: If set to 3, depreciation as well as indexation are applied to blocked assets. This approach offers a comprehensive view of asset financial impact, considering devaluation as well as indexation.
