Currencies Projection
This option enables projection of currency rates for a specific period. Projection can be made in two ways:
| • | Line Regression |
Projection is based on the behavior of values in a given period (number of previous days). To proceed with linear regression, you need at least 2 previous values.
| • | Inflation |
Projects the inflation of the month entered, based on the inflation rate forecast for the period.
Procedures
To perform profile maintenance:
| 1. | In the Currencies maintenance window, select Project. |
The system displays the screen for projection of currencies.
| 2. | Enter the number of days for projection of currency rates. |
| 3. | Check the option box for projected linear regression or inflation for each currency. |
| 4. | If you selected projection by regression, enter the number of days prior to the system date to be considered for calculating the projection. |
| 5. | If you selected projected inflation, enter the inflation rate forecast for the period. |
| 6. | Click OK to confirm projection. |
