Blockage and Release of Depreciation
The purpose of this routine is to block or release the calculation of depreciation of some assets.
There may be a need to temporarily suspend depreciation of an asset. An example of this is when machines depreciated by usage are not used for some reason and hence are not depreciating.
The blockage and release operations must be done separately.
Procedures:
To block/release depreciation:
| 1. | While accessing the routine Blockage/Release Depreciation, the window Block Depreciation is displayed highlighting the purpose of the routine. |
| 2. | Click on Parameters. |
A parameter screen is displayed to configure the routine.
| 3. | Fill in the data according to the field's help instructions. |
| 4. | Check the data and confirm operation (blockage/release). |
