IDE Installation

In order to use Fluig development plug-in, you need to have an Eclipse-based IDE. IDEs approved to work with Fluig Studio are:

Please note: In order to install and update Fluig Studio, you will need to have access to the Internet in the workstation where IDE is installed.

Once your IDE is installed and properly configured, there are only four simple steps left which are the same in both IDEs.

1° Step: In the "Help" menu, select the "Install New Software" option.

2° Step: Add a new "update site" by selecting the "Add" button: 

 

3° Step: Register the http://update.fluig.com address, regarding the last available version of the Fluig plug-in by confirming the data according to the figure below:

If you want to report the plug-in update for a specific version, simply enter "/<Fluigversion>" after the default URL, where <Fluigversion> corresponds to the desired version number.

Example: I have Fluig 1.2.8 and want to update the Fluig plug-in to the same version as the server. Since there is already a more current version available in the default URL, simply enter: http://update.fluig.com/128 .

 

 

4° Step: Select the option you have just registered in step 3 and confirm the operation.

Please note: For the correct operation of the Fluig Studio installation, you must select the check-box "Contact all update sites during install to find required software."

 

After the IDE is downloaded and restarted, it will be ready to work with Fluig Studio.

Tip: To update, just select the update registered with Fluig Studio as shown in step number 4.
