  • Differences Between Consolidations (CTBA220 - SIGACTB)

General consolidation

This type of consolidation does not depend on registration of a consolidation script. However, ledger accounts, cost centers, items and value classes must have the same structure.

Defining entity filtering for consolidation is not possible.

Configured consolidation

This type of consolidation depends on registration a consolidation script,in which ledger accounts, cost centers, items and value classes may be different among companies/branches.

It is more complex to use it, as it requires prior planning. In this case, data filtering makes possible to determine which entities will be consolidated.
